Arcade Middle School Information
San Juan Unified School District is a very large school district in Sacramento County, California that serves Arden-Arcade, Carmichael, Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and parts of Rancho Cordova and parts of Sacramento.
San Juan Unified includes 44 elementary schools, 11 middle schools, and 9 high schools, plus an additional number of alternative schools, early childhood centers, and adult education centers.

Middle schools
Barret Middle School is a public middle school in Fair Oaks, California.
Departments
Barrets academic departments include English, Social Studies, Math, Science, Physical Education and many electives like Music, Performing Arts, Spanish, Student Government, Media and computers. Barrett is on a six period schedule.
Student Activities
Barrett has many student activities. These include dances, sports and many other activities. We host three dances during the school year. These are all hosted at La Sierra (a closed high school) community center. Basketball and volleyball is in sesion at the same time. Then wrestling and track take off. The other activities include club live. This is an after school program that lets students organize projects that not only help the school but the community. One of the most fun events is the Science Olympiad.
