Bif Bang Pow! Information
Bif Bang Pow! is a toy company that makes action figures, plush, and bobble heads based on licensed properties. The company has produced bobbleheads based on The Big Lebowski and Flash Gordon, and has a deal with Anthrax[1] member Scott Ian. Bif Bang Pow! also secured a contract with Showtime for the Dexter series.[2]
Bif Bang Pow! was founded in 2005 by Jason Labowitz and Jason Lenzi, who work on the products. Famed artist Alex Ross who has contributed to the Flash Gordon action figure design.
At Comic-Con 2005, the company showed concept art for figures based on the Channel 4 series Spaced, but these were not and will not be produced. No prototypes were shown, nor have any surfaced.
In early 2010, the company confirmed development of a product line based on The Venture Bros..[3]
Other recent licensed for Bif Bang Pow include ABC's LOST, HBO's Eastbound & Down, and CBS' The Twilight Zone.
Bif Bang Pow has uses both a 7-inch plastic figure and a 8-inch cloth costume Mego like retro action figure for their various releases.
