Why is there a weird conflict between working mothers and stay at home mothers?
Q. I've noticed this in my neighborhood. It seems like there is a weird conflict/fricti on that goes on between the working mothers and stay at home mothers in my neighborhood. The two seem rarely mix and I hear each group making snide remarks about the other. Am I the only one that has noticed this? What gives?

A. Stay at home moms think the working mom doesn't spend the quality time with their children like they should. The working mom thinks the stay at home moms are full of bologna because they are still good mothers. Working mom's also seem to have a better family income (because the dads are working too.. usually) so those kids sometimes seem to be more spoiled. It's just silly politics.

What is the conflict of interest between county public defender and family court?
Q. I was charged with civil contempt and the judge stated I could have an attorney appointed to me. I went to the public defender and without ever asking me about the charges, stated there is a conflict of interest, they cant represent me and cant tell me what the conflict is. additional info: Yes, the judge did say an attorney would be appointed if I could not afford one. I went to the PD and qualify economically but then they said there is a conflict and they cant help me. I was charged with civil contempt and the judge stated I could have an attorney appointed to me. A. Then file a written motion with the court stating the PD refused to represent you due to a conflict & asking him to appoint an attorney. Did the judge say you have the right to an "appointed attorney," or to retain one? "Appointed" means the state will pay for it. Most states do not supply appointed counsel for civil contempt.
