Has anyone gotten the Littlest Pet Shop Digital Pet on a key chain thing?
Q. If you have and your child uses it do you think it is appropriate for a 5 year old child?

A. Both of my daughters have one. One has the hamster (gerbil?) and the other has the monkey. They have a lot of fun with them, especially since their friends have them too and you can connect them. I think a 5 year old would be thrilled to have one and could work it with ease. I must admit, I sat there for about 30 minutes after my daughters got theirs and just messed around with it, seeing what it could do. A lot of fun for them.

The bigger the number, the closer you will be able to zoom-in; you decide how important that is to you. As for megapixles; you can get an 8x10 (large) print from a 4MP camera, so the 4-6 range is sufficient. The higher the MP number, the more you'll be able to edit and crop without affecting quality. I have several suggestions that I like to tell people about: I prefer a camera that takes AA batteries; you don't want to have to rely on a charger or finding a proprietary replcement if your battery goes bad. I like to buy a set of recharable AA batteries for everyday use (double the number that you… [cont.]

A. real pet. a digital pet can't love. my two dogs can and they mean so much more than what a digital pet would mean to me. couldn't even compare the two. my dogs make a huge difference in my life. life wouldn't be the same without them.
