A. try turning it upside down... or press its tummy, or press it's back... or press its tongue... if nothing happens, make sure u put the baterries in right... if worst comes to worst...try dropping it...(highly recommended as a last resort)

Where would I find the furby manual?
Q. I don't understand him when he talks, and I would like to have instructions on how to make him do other tricks.

A. I have a few furbys, I dont have a manual, all that I have is: "Furbys have come to earth to spread joy, happiness and mirth. In a rainbow of colors bright in hue, Furbys will keep amazing you. Furbys and Furby babies too, can talk with eatchother and also with you. Theyll 'wee-tee' (sing) and play, just as before but they will also do a whole lot more. So, treat Furbys very kind And, if you do youll surely find, The 'may-may' (love) that comes from within its heart, You'll bond and never want to be apart. 'May-tah' (kiss) your Furbys and be 'noo-noo' (happy) but dont forget about Baby Furbys too!" Haha thats all I got. Let me go search up on ask.com and I will give you any sites I get lets see... That should do it. ^_^ Have fun!

What is the best way to politely disarm the neighbor kid's Furby?
Q. A kid who lives a few apartments down from me has a Furby which he put me in charge of for a few days...arrgh! It always offends me, but the insults I return never seem to actually insult it back which deeply annoys me! Removing the batteries is only a temporary solution to the problem.
Asked by aanstalokaniskiodov_nikolai - Fri Aug 11 18:17:37 2006 - Etiquette - 24 Answers - 1 Comments
A. You should tie the furby up and tie is mouth shut so he can't yell drive him far away push him out of the car and drive quickly away and when the kid asks what happened you can say that he ran away and he left a note. (you of course must write the note) In doing this you risk the chance that the furby might find is way back but if you blind fold him as well i'm sure you will be ok. Good luck!

What is the best way to disguise the Furby flavor when you barbeque it?
Q. Or does it taste like chicken? The neighbor kid and his family are returning today. I have invited them to dinner because no one likes to cook again when they get back from a nice holiday. I had to take care of the kid's Furby for him, but it mysteriously passed away...don't know how that happened...ahem. But why let a good chunk of meat go to waste? I could either barbeque Furby or microwave Jell-O snack packs for dinner. I would like to do something a little more elaborate for my neighbors which is why I am hoping that a good recipe to cover up the Furby flavor exists.

A. Ganja. First we smoke the ganja. Lots of ganja. Coat that Furby extra good with a Jamaican rub. Don't forget to add plenty of ganja. Smoke the Furby over a slow burning bed of hardwood coals to which you added a generous heap of ganga. Mmm, mmm, that's mighty fine Furby. Mmm, Furby, sweet, sweet Furby. Now, then. About that microwave jello. I am having the munchies.

What is the difference between an adult furby and a baby furby?
Q.
Asked by dramaqueen2013 - Sat Jun 5 23:44:32 2010 - Toys - 2 Answers - Comments
A. I have over 20 Furbys at my house, so this question really caught my eye :D Adult furbys are a few inches taller than baby furbys, and have deeper voices. They also have bigger beaks/eyes/feet etc. You would likely hear a baby furby refer to you as Momma or Dadda, and you would never hear an adult say this. They BIG difference though is that adults have a thing on their battery cage that allows them to "dance" (move up and down), where baby furbys have a completely flat underside. Babies also come in more pastel colors, where adults have more neutral or bright fur colors. Good example of 2 babies and 2 adults side by side: the order obviously goes baby - adult - baby - adult

Why did my furby work without batteries?
Q. When I was a kid, I had one of those furby toy things. After awhile I got tired of it and took the batteries out, but it still worked and would annoy me with all the "feed me" demands. We threw it away eventually. Now that I think about it, I want to know why it did that? I looked online and found several sites where people claimed to have had furbies that worked even after the batteries were out too. As a child, I just assumed it was normal. Now I'm a little freaked out. Lol
Asked by One step at a time - Thu Feb 17 23:54:44 2011 - Toys - 3 Answers - Comments
A. Lol i dunno since it was a old toy it could be a possibility that the batteries did transfer to the toy and a little of power was still inside the toy, in a sense you could say like a cellphone and it charger except the furby does not hold on that much batteries in it. Lol that the only thing i could think of if it not this well your furby is one scary furby

Are there any more furby collector expert people out there? Because I've got a question for you?
Q. I got the Bumblebee Furby, and I noticed he has green eyes, instead of the usual brown. Why's that?

A. I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I can give you all the information I know. The first official "Bumblebee Furby" came out in 1999 and is part of the Generation 4 Series. Since then, hell, ever since the very FIRST generation Furbies came out, people have been making modifications to them. Almost everything in a Furby can be modified. The eyes, voice speaker/box, the fur itself (I used hair dye on mine once XD), Sewing on accessories, messing with the mechanisms to add or take out movements. Because of this, the market (aka EBAY) was FLOODED with "third party" Furbys NOT made by Tiger Electronics. Since then, people who weren't terribly familiar with the little fuzzballs, would end up buying a Furby on Ebay thinking… [cont.]

Can you really make a furby say anything?
Q. I have always wondered since I heard a rumor when Furby first came out that you could make any Furby learn to speak what you tell it to by doing some kind of method. Is it possible at all?
Asked by thehutch86 - Wed Oct 25 00:02:39 2006 - Toys - 4 Answers - Comments
A. No, it just has a list of things to say when it detects a change in light, sound, or its little feeding spoon. Supposedly, it learns more English as it "grows up," but that's just what's programmed into it, not what you supposedly teach it.

How can I fix a furby?
Q. I bought my kid a Furby brand new in the box at a yard sale today, and to my dismay it won't turn on. I followed all of the directions and still nothing, does anybody remember these or how to fix them? I put brand new batteries in it, so that's not the problem. Thanks :)
Asked by Leigh Jordan - Sat Nov 13 16:43:58 2010 - Toys - 1 Answers - 1 Comments
A. Did you shake it upside down a couple, or even more than a couple of times? One Furby I have is getting older, I have to shake him more because of that. If you didn't try that. Otherwise, there is a hole (white hole I think) in the bottom of him in which you can fit with something like a very small screwdriver, or something like that, and it will reset your Furby. It might even have Reset in little print near the hole. And Furby takes 4 batteries, and the "black door" has to be fully closed, or it won't work either. I hope that helps.

how do you turn on a original adult furby?
Q. i have a original adult furby from 1999. but i can not turn it on!
Asked by Lorraine Phillips - Thu Sep 29 14:50:36 2011 - Toys - 4 Answers - Comments
A. Usually with a Furby, if the batteries are fresh, you need to turn it upside down and then right side up, or clap your hands in front of the Furby, because the noise will wake him up. However, if you have a different model of a Furby from a different country, there might be an off/on switch on the bottom all though it's unlikely. Also, try the tongue button. If none of this works, your Furby is dead and needs to be replaced.
